Tempest Almanac is an independent weather application designed to display and analyze weather information from a user’s own Tempest Weather System.
Tempest Almanac does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal information to the developer.
The app does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking services.
To access a user’s Tempest Weather System, Tempest Almanac requires a Tempest Personal Access Token.
The token is stored securely on the user’s device using Apple’s Keychain services. The developer of Tempest Almanac does not receive or have access to the user’s token.
The token is used to communicate with WeatherFlow/Tempest services to retrieve weather information associated with the user’s Tempest account.
Weather observations, forecasts, and historical information are retrieved from WeatherFlow/Tempest services for use within the app.
Tempest Almanac may store weather information locally on the user’s devices to provide features such as historical summaries, widgets, Apple Watch information, and background updates.
This locally stored information is not transmitted to or collected by the developer.
Tempest Almanac may share weather information between the iPhone app, its widgets, and the user’s paired Apple Watch in order to provide app functionality.
This information remains within the user’s Apple devices and associated app storage and is not collected by the developer.
Tempest Almanac communicates with WeatherFlow/Tempest services to retrieve weather data. Use of those services is subject to WeatherFlow/Tempest’s own terms and privacy practices.
Tempest Almanac is an independent third-party application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WeatherFlow-Tempest.
This privacy policy may be updated if the app’s features or privacy practices change. The current version will remain available on this page.
